US President Donald Trump slammed the World Health Organization Tuesday morning. In a scathing tweet, Trump accused the organization of being China-centric:
"The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?"

The World Health Organization has come under intense criticism from observers all over the globe for its slow response to the coronavirus pandemic.
On January 14, the WHO tweeted "Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus."

In mid-February, the WHO insisted that travel restrictions were unnecessary. In early March, the WHO claimed that "stigma" regarding identity was more dangerous than the virus.

Up until recently, the WHO said that wearing masks to stop the spread of coronavirus was not recommended for anyone other than health care professionals those already afflicted with coronavirus.
