Toronto man rushed to hospital after being stabbed with sword

A man walked into a Toronto business wielding two swords and stabbed a man who was rushed to hospital according to police.

A has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed with a sword on Friday in North York, according to police.

Toronto police responded to the incident shortly before 8:30 a.m. at Wilson Avenue and Torbarrie Road close to Highway 400 according to The Star. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from serious injuries, said Const. David Hopkinson.

Police believe a man entered a business carrying two swords and proceeded to stab one man. The man was transported to hospital suffering serious, non-life threatening injuries.

A man is now in custody and both swords have been recovered. Charges have not been laid yet.

The business is not being revealed for the victim's safety.
