Mississauga Man, 86, charged with murdering 81-year-old wife

Peel Regional Police say an 86-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 81-year-old wife after she was found dead on Tuesday.

Peel Regional Police say an 86-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 81-year-old wife after she was found dead on Tuesday.

Police responded to the scene after a care provider found the woman dead at her home in Mississauga, Ont. The woman has been identified as Marion Wallace.

Lawton Wallace—her husband—is being charged with first-degree murder. He is currently awaiting a bail hearing.

According to investigators, there are currently no outstanding suspects as the crime was an isolated incident.

The man is scheduled to make a court appearance on Wednesday.
