Famed sadistic killer of the "DON'T F*CK WITH CATS" documentary, Luka Magnotta, has claimed to be a trans woman and was moved to a lower security facility.

According to Reduxx, the 41-year-old who was arrested for the murder of Concordia University student Jun Lin in May 2012 was authorized to be moved from Port Cartier maximum-security prison in Quebec, Canada, to a medium-security prison in August 2022.

A medical report obtained by the Toronto Sun revealed that Magnotta first requested to start hormone replacement therapy in October 2021 and now uses the name Violette.

In the assessment, Magnotta claimed, "Gay is a choice." The killer added, "Trans is who I am."

Four medical doctors from the McGill University Sexual Identity Centre suggested that "offering space and support to explore around a proper gender identity exploration that would allow Violette to express and present her gender as she sees fit and for her to experience living within this gender identity."

The doctors noted that Magnotta doesn't meet the criteria for a gender dysphoria diagnosis and may be using the new identity to fight against "internal homophobia." They also note that the killer has a history of changing names after committing a crime.

Magnotta was previously jailed for fraud under the name Eric Newman and changed names after.

"The narrative of being born in the wrong body may be a way for this patient to wipe the slate clean once again,” the doctors wrote.

Magnotta was the subject of the Netflix docuseries "DON'T F*CK WITH CATS" after he posted a sadistic video killing kittens, causing a team of internet sleuths to investigate. Magnotta escalated to killing Jun Lin in May of 2012 after meeting him on Craigslist.

Similar to the videos killing kittens, Magnotta filmed the murder which showed the 41-year-old dismembering the victim, performing acts of necrophilia on the body, and engaging in acts of cannibalism.

Lin's body was found a few days later, while Magnotta fled the country for Paris. The murderer was arrested by authorities in Berlin while reading news stories about the murder.

The Correctional Services Canada (CSC) confirmed to Reduxx that Magnotta had been transferred and that registered victims had been notified. The CSC added, "To provide further context, we have a number of inmates with affiliations to security threat groups (gangs), and who are incompatible with other inmates, which could make it a safety and security risk to disclose their specific location and placement."
