The Quebec government has announced travel restrictions between Ontario and Quebec as part of an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus, according to the Ottawa Citizen.

This will include introducing control points on bridges between Ottawa and Gatineau.

This will be performed on a random basis in order to limit the movements of Canadians crossing the provincial border into Ontario and Quebec.

This will not affect essential workers like health care professionals or people who are conducting business.
