McDonald's Canada has made the decision to temporarily close all in-restaurant tables and seats as of Tuesday morning. The move comes after Tim Hortons made a similar announcement earlier Monday.

A McDonald's spokesperson told website MobileSyrup that "this temporary change is the right decision for our guests, our people and our communities."

McDonald's will continue to provide delivery, take out, and drive-thru services from their Canadian locations.

McDonald's delivery is provided by Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats.
