Trump mocks Thunberg, then she counter-trolls him

No matter what you think of Greta Thunberg, no one can deny that she's inspired millions across the globe.

The polarizing activist, only 16-years-old, gave a speech addressing the climate, ripping into world leaders at the UN, lambasting them for what she says is ignorance. "People are suffering, people are dying, entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth."

You can watch the full address here.

Of course, US President Trump who apparently ignored Greta's presence in the room, tweeted out a video of Greta's speech, calling her a "very happy you girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future."

"So nice to see!" wrote the President of the most powerful nation in Earth's history.

Greta, who is by now no stranger to criticism and trolling, counterpunched wonderfully. Without ever responding to Trump, she gave a smooth retaliation, changing her Twitter bio to Trump's quote, "A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future."

It is yet to be seen whether Donald Trump will attempt to buy Sweden in retaliation.
