Trudeau is Spending Taxpayers Money To Transport Quebec Border Crossers To Their ‘Preferred’ Destination

It seems like the Prime Minister is dedicated to creating a full-blown border crisis as a new report in the Toronto Star states that “starting next week, asylum-seekers arriving through the Canada-United States border could be fast-tracked to shelters and services in Ontario if that is their preferred destination.”

It seems like the Prime Minister is dedicated to creating a full-blown border crisis as a new report in the Toronto Star states that “starting next week, asylum-seekers arriving through the Canada-United States border could be fast-tracked to shelters and services in Ontario if that is their preferred destination.”

While this may sound like the “humanitarian” action to take, in reality, it only makes matters worse.

Firstly imagine how this will look to people thinking of crossing illegally.

Not only do people who enter into Canada illegally get access to work permits, welfare payments, they are now able to start picking where they want to go, and then get transported there at the expense of Canadian taxpayers.

Next look at the rate of rejections, last year, about 20,000 people crossed the border at Roxham Road.

A large portion of them were Haitians, many of whom spoke French and feared the loss of a protected status they had in the United States. In 2017, Haitians had a 25-per-cent acceptance rate for their claims, down from the average level of about 50 per cent. By the end of last year, federal officials said nine in 10 cases were being rejected.

Like earlier tweets from the Prime Minister which welcomed all refugees, this action will only increase the incentive for people in desperate situations to make this crossing, only to realize that they are not, in fact, a refugee, and will soon be deported.

This is problematic for real asylum seekers, legal immigrants, and every Canadian taxpayer who is stuck paying for this farce. If the Prime Minister wants to help fix this issue I urge him to begin taking this matter seriously. Move away from platitudes and speeches, and begin to take action.

It’s time to stop playing for media time, and start playing in the interests of Canadians.

  1. Trudeau is an embarrassment, an insult and a disgrace to all Canadians. He should be fired and our borders should be closed immediately. If he wants these illegals here, let him support them out of his own pocket and stop robbing hard working Canadians of their money.

  2. This prime minister is a complete fool.If his ministers and backbenchers don’t cross the floor now they are fools also. Cross now or our country will be in financial ruin that will take a decade to fix.listen to your constituants…at least they are not as braindead as your leader.you’ve all have to realize this man’s not right for this very important job. Unless all masochists and want to reap the whirlwind this idiot is going to create.

  3. I don’t understand how Trudeau and his Federal Liberal Government are causing great division in Canada and Canadian people with their rediculos programmes and policies. The lack of leadership and inaction on getting pipelines that have been approved is costing the Canadian economy billions of dollars every year. Armed forces veteran’s and seniors have received little to no increases to their Federal pension’s at a time when billions of borrowed dollars are going to welcme house and support illegal immigrants from walking over our boarder. This governments blatent disreguard of our Canadian laws and cavalier attitude is causing the tension amongst Canadians and if we allow them to continue down these path’s the Canada we all love and our great Canadian culture will be distroyed. Time for all Canadians to stand up to these idiots who were elected by us to work for us to remind them of that. We are not children we are their bosses.
