Truck driver who caused Humboldt Broncos crash pleading guilty to all charges

Jaskirat Sidhu is being charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

The semi-trailer driver involved in the devastating Humboldt Bronco’s bus crash that killed 16 hockey players has pleaded guilty to his charges.

Jaskirat Sidhu is being charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

On April 6th, 2018 his truck collided with the team’s tour bus while it was travelling to Nipawin, Saskatchewan for a playoff game.

The crash was covered around the world and a GoFundMe campaign raised $15 million to be divided between the victims and their families.

Jaskirat Sidhu’s employer, Sukhmander Singh also faces eight charges of failing to comply to safety regulations.

Sidhu was realeased on $1,000 in bail and has surrendered his passport.
