Multiple crashes outside montreal on highway 15, others throughout Canada

A multi-vehicle crash of at least 20 cars and trucks has caused traffic delays outside of Montreal, about 15 minutes away from the Vermont border. A small pile up has caused traffic jams with no current estimates as to when they will be cleared up.

Whether conditions have been sporadic in the last few days across Quebec, with the quick changes from snow to ice to slush and back to snow being tough to gauge while behind the wheel. Many of the roads have frozen over and caused major headaches to motorists. Luckily, there have been no injuries reported.

The crashes in Quebec have taken place after a much larger pileup in Ontario that involved 50-70 cars.

Drive safely out there, Canadians and guests. The winter roads can be a cruel mistress.
