In a recent Battleground interview this week, Jordan Peterson described Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne as “The most dangerous woman in Canada.”

Through Wynne, Peterson criticized the danger of the left’s anti-freedom, anti-economic growth and overall damaging policies in a Shakespearian quote: “One can smile and smile and still be a villain.”

This sentiment has long been echoed by scholars and economists such as award-winning economist Milton Friedman.

It doesn’t matter how virtuous or caring you believe your policies are, it doesn’t make them any less damaging.

Peterson echoed that sentiment in regards to Wynne: “There is something to be said for an excess of compassion.”

Peterson also attacked Wynne’s insistence on participating in Marxist identity politics.

On the current university climate, Peterson claimed “the things that have happened under her watch at the universities are unacceptable. They’re worse than people think.”

While addressing Humber College last week, Wynne told students “If you don’t vote, then somebody who looks like me is going to vote, some senior person, older than me, some white person.” Among other critics, Peterson has time and time again denounced this sort of anti-white and overly generalist view of a demographic, especially that of an entire race.

Critics have also pointed out the laughable hypocrisy involved in unjustifiably painting an entire race with negative motivations of voting for an inferior campaign or message while running a so-called “social justice” based campaign.

Only time will tell if Ontarians take heed in the vast and detailed criticisms of the premier and second guess their support for, in Jordan Peterson’s words, a “reprehensible ideologue.”
