A rally is being organized by far-right group La Meute, which claims that Quebec culture and society are currently threatened by its diversity for this Sunday in Quebec City. Tensions against immigration and diversity have been on the rise in Quebec as fears in regards to asylum seekers continue to heat up.
The organizers of the event noting the damages of Charlottesville have made their plans known well ahead of time and have described their intent as peaceful going so far to declare a completely silent event.
Most likely tame by American standards, the fear of potential catastrophe has pushed politicians across the province to target the rally.

“We have to always remember that all these forms of extremism feed on one another” – Philippe Couillard
Counter-protests are also expected with Antifa and other groups expected to attend the event.
What is your opinion on this? Is this just Quebecors defending their heritage or a potentially dangerous rally?
