CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be self-isolating for the next 14 days. Cuomo will carry on doing his show from his basement.

"Sooooo in these difficult times that seem to get more difficult and complicated by the day, I just found out that I am positive for coronavirus. I have been exposed to people in recent days who have subsequently tested positive and I had a fever, chills and shortness of breath. I just hope I didn't give it to the kids and Cristina. That would make me feel worse than this illness!" said the news anchor in a Twitter post.

Cuomo noted that he has a fever, chills and shortness of breath.

Governor Andrew Cuomo commented on his brother's test results on Tuesday during New York State’s daily briefing.

"This virus is the great equalizer," said the New York Governor. "My brother, Chris, is positive for coronavirus. Found out this morning."

He called Chris his "best friend" and said, "He's young; in good shape; strong—not as strong as he thinks, but he'll be fine."
