Canadians freeze to death in Toronto while refugees remain in hotels

It has been a year since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted “To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada

And in this last year since Trudeau’s reckless words were tweeted out for everyone in the world to see, Canada has seen over 40,000 refugees and illegal immigrants enter the country.

What’s alarming, is that even with the Immigration and Refugee Board claiming that such levels of immigration are “clearly unsustainable” the government still hasn’t quelled the fears of Canadians over the cost of bringing illegal immigrants into our country, nor has the government responded adequately to the serious danger these groups could pose to the safety of Canadians.

We have no idea who most of these people are, what criminal record they have back home, or what ties to terrorism they have.

Such concerns are only amplified by the recent news that the US will deport all of the El Salvadorians currently under temporary protection within the next 6 months. Meaning that thousands could attempt to cross the border.

Mass Movement

Now, don’t get me wrong. I believe that legal immigration is a good thing. But when Canadians are left out on the streets freezing to death while thousands of refugees remain in hotels, I am left asking what happened to help your neighbor first?

Did you know that 70 people died this year in Toronto alone under Mayor John Tory’s watch?

Why?

Because society has shifted to help refugees instead of the vulnerable and the homeless here who can’t afford the cost of living in Ontario because of the policies of Justin Trudeau and Kathleen Wynne.

I have a few simple questions for Justin Trudeau:

1. When will you start putting Canadian citizens first for a change?

2. When will you take back your comments and clarify to state that those who wish to become Canadians must go through the proper processes to become a Canadian citizen?

3. When will you direct the Mayors and Premiers to prioritize the safety, and security of Canadians to ensure that our shelters and low-income housing projects prioritize Canadians ahead of illegal immigrants and refugees?

4. When will you close the borders and allocate finances to ensure that our borders are secured?

We need to stand up to our corrupt politicians who put illegal immigrants and refugees ahead of the best interests of Canadians.

  • You are so right, when will Trudeau put Canadians first,he has totally destroyed our faith in the government.our country is losing everything that our parents an grandparents worked for the future for our children is nil. I am hoping Canadians will start fighting for Canada 🇨🇦 before it is to late it will be to late after the rest of Trudeau's refugees are in Canada 🇨🇦 we will be lost people.

  • I totally agree with you and let see if Trudeau will answer your questions, cause he’s good at ducking them and replying with something else.

    • I say We kick all the illegal shitskins and Islam teash out if the hotels, let those scum freeze to death and let Canadian homeless relax in the hotel. Who cares a damn about worthless illegal garbage.

      • Seriously? Apparently, you do not know any immigrants. My experience has been that many are very hard-working individuals who normally do jobs that most Canadians refuse to do. Staying in hotels is not the fault of the immigrants, but the fault of our government. I agree that homeless people should not be on the streets freezing. I would like to know if all the shelters and emergency housing were completely filled. Some homeless people prefer not to go to these places so they choose to sleep outside. In many cases when the weather can be detrimental to the homeless, police patrols and community volunteers check on the welfare of the homeless to make sure that their health is not affected. Making racists comments is only fueling problems instead of solving them.

        • ROFLMAO where do they work i live in Surrey BC. why is it i see between 10 to 30 somailias sit and drink 7 days a aweek in a empty field . hwo are they working any of the muslims i see in surrey dont worl take care of our own first

        • Are YOU serious? Clint said absolutely NOTHING racist.
How bout you pretend you have more than a 3rd grade education and don't use words of which you obviously do not know the meaning.
so , tell us, Lisa, if that is your name, because not many people that write the crap you wrote would own it, exactly how many refugees are you housing? How many homeless Canadians? yeah. I didn't think so.

  • I totally agree, they should put canadians first, he should think of our safety first instead of people we dont even know, I know there welcomed, but there more welcomed than our own people/canadians

  • This is so dam wrong. WTF is wrong with our government when they care more about refugees, illegals et al, than they do their own citizens? The PM swears to protect Canadians, does he not?

  • this is a disgusting display of disrespect for Canadian citizens... I am appalled at our governments lack of responsibiliy to protect this Country.

  • I find it not funny when the Government can spend billions of dollars on refugees and programes in other Contries, and all the pensioners are still paying taxes on our pensions.
The pensioners have paid into this Country all there lives.

  • I say We kick all the illegal shitskins and Islam teash out if the hotels, let those scum freeze to death and let Canadian homeless relax in the hotel. Who cares a damn about worthless illegal garbage.

  • It is all about votes I don't blame the imagrants it is our sick twisted government seeking votes because we are by far the minority in our own country so the government seeks votes from the majority which happens too be all the imagrants that they continue too allow too come over here and monopolize are small businesses and live in one house that we pay for and move too the next and buy that one when is our government going too worry about us.Come on Truedue pull your head out of your .....Asstonishing

  • Do not forget the deaths that are adding up, with one of the latest being Marissa Chen who was murdered by a refugee who had been in the country for a short time...

  • I came to this country in 1975 as a immigrant. I went through all the proper channels police checks strict and very strict medicals. I have worked very hard to have a good life in Canada. Nothing was ever just handed to me free. I absolutely resent that taxes from my small pension goes to support these so called illegal immigrants.
