Actress Rose McGowan has taken issue with fellow Me Too activist Alyssa Milano over Milano's failure to get behind Tara Reade's allegations against presidential candidate Vice President Joe Biden.

Milano released an interview from Andy Cohen Live saying that despite Reade's accusations against Biden she would still be supporting him for president.

"I explained my silence on the allegations against Joe Biden in this clip.  I am still endorsing @JoeBiden. Listen to this clip to find out why.   #MeToo #TimesUp"

Milano said "I endorsed Joe Biden. And there have been accusations against Joe about a sexual assault. So I have not publicly said anything about this. If you remember it kind of took me a long time to say something about Harvey as well. Because I believe that even though we should believe women, and that is an important thing, and what that statement really means is like, for so long the go-to has been not to believe them."

"So really we really have to sort of societally change that mind-set to believing women, but that does not mean at the expense of giving men their due process, and investigating situations. And it's got to be fair in both directions. So y'know, I've been very vocal about Biden and my support for him. And I've known him for a long time. And I did do my due diligence. Because part of it was that the article that stood out to me was that Time's Up decided not to take the case."

"I did my work and I spoke to Times Up and I just don't feel comfortable throwing away a decent man that I've known for 15 years in this time of complete chaos without their being a thorough investigation. I'm sure that mainstream media would be jumping all over this if they found more evidence... So I'm just kind of staying quiet about it."

McGowan, who famously brought her allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein to light in her memoir Brave took issue with Milano despite the latter actress' activism against then nominee to the Supreme Court, Justice Brett Kavenaugh. Milano has been vocal in the Me Too and Times Up movements, but in this case, prefers to believe Joe Biden over his female accuser.
